This past Sunday I, (well my alter ego, kissyface454) was invited to Brunch of Creatives to speak on a panel about love, marriage & everything in between.
The first time I heard about this restaurant was from a girlfriend of mine who was trying to convince me come with her to their "Ladies Night". Me, being of sound mind and body, declined the free drinks, because, KIDS!
Pumpkin rice is definitely one of the easiest ways to spice up your everyday white rice, side dish. It can be had on it's own or with whatever you're doing for dinner that night. I paired it with baked salmon. Something that I still need to make a post on, but that's for another day.
This is something I've now made a hand full of times, including for my Mum's surprise birthday dinner. It is a fave of Fred's and was actually requested by him last night. Depending on the size roast you choose, there may or not be left overs after dinner.
With over 6 months of planning and almost a year passed, I think we should talk about the dinner party that I planned and hosted for my mom's 50th Birthday.
